Potential Vehanen Replacements

With die Eisbären Berlin Goalkeeper Petri Vehanen coming up nearing retirement and many fearing this to be his last season, I decided to do a fantasy search for potential replacements in case he decides not to renew his contract. I’ve used the data from the leagues analysis to come up with projected stats for each Goalkeeper. Goalie League Stats Differences

As part of my Europe goalie analysis I decided it would be interesting to know what the differences a goalie has in their stats when they switch leagues. The leagues I included were SHL, NLA, DEL, Czech Extraliga, Liiga and the AHL (since many players from the AHL to Europe). Goalie Transfer Sources

As part of my analysis of Goalkeeping within the Europe leagues, I decided it would be fun to find out where leagues get most of their Goalkeepers from. My approach was to get every Goalkeeper on EliteProspects and then track their movement between leagues via their stats. Any league that had less than five transfers were grouped within “Others”.
